JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. —
UPDATE (August 16, 5:35pm): During search efforts today Mr. Hallingbye was located in Fremont County. Unfortunately, Mr. Hallingbye was deceased. More details will be released when they are available in a joint release between Sublette and Fremont County Sheriffs Offices.
A search is underway for a man gone missing in Sublette County.
Thor Hallingbye, 41, was last seen on August 14 in the vicinity of Gannett Peak in the Wind River Range near Pinedale, Wyoming. Hallingbye was wearing a red backpack at the time of his disappearance.
Hallingbye is 5’7” 125 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
