TSD 401 puts masks back on in Teton Valley
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Teton County School District 401, serving Teton Valley, instituted a mask mandate this week as surging COVID cases due to omicron continue to plague the community.
School Superintendent Monte Woolstenhulme said a face covering requirement will be in effect for at least two weeks, after which the district will reassess.
Woolstenhulme added the school board hoped to reduce the number of absences for staff and students due to COVID and other seasonal illnesses. So far this school year, 46 staff members and 80 students have tested positive for COVID in District 401.
