JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — A minor earthquake was felt by many town residents in Jackson this afternoon. USGS pegged the seismic activity at a 2.7M epicentered just off the Elk Refuge Road as it approaches the big bend at Twin Creek Ranch.
The tremblor was recorded at 4:25pm Wednesday. Many in the area reported on social media they felt a jolt. Some say the shake was enough to cause objects on their walls to fall off or clatter. The further from downtown Jackson, the less the quake was felt.
