Police investigating ‘suspicious’ death at rest area in Swan Valley
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Motorists encountered delays this morning in Swan Valley as law enforcement investigated a suspicious death at a rest area just east of Ririe.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies are leading the investigation after receiving a call of an apparent deceased individual in a parked vehicle at the Lane Clark Hill Rest Area on Highway 26 (Mile Post 356) east of Ririe.
Deputies were dispatched at 6:30am Friday. A large portion of the rest area was closed off for most of the morning while detectives collected evidence and processed the scene.
