Adios huevos? Nora’s just hit the market

Popular Wilson restaurant was just listed for a cool $10M

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Nora’s Fish Creek Inn was just listed for sale—asking price $10 million, according to Brian Siegfried, agent at Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty.

The beloved Wilson breakfast hotspot is an award-winning restaurant opened by Nora and Marvin Tygum in 1982. It is currently owned and operated by Nora’s daughter Kathryn Taylor.

Nora’s ownership confirmed the listing and the end of an era.

“For employees and customers alike Nora’s has always been so much more than a restaurant, it is a home away from home. After serving the Wilson and Jackson Hole community for over 40 years now Kathryn Taylor is ready to hang up her chef apron to pick up her cowgirl hat full time,” the restaurant posted on Facebook.

Nora’s has been voted the Best Breakfast in the “Best of JH” for several years. It has also received a James Beard Award in 2012, and was also featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri in 2014.

Would a new owner keep the popular restaurant running? More importantly, would it still appeal to locals and visitors the way it does now? (Nora’s Fish Creek Inn)
