JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue again deployed to Teton Pass for another mountain bike crash on Wednesday.
TCSAR responded Wednesday afternoon to reports of an injured mountain biker on Teton Pass. The female patient had crashed on the Fuzzy Bunny trail and reported severe pain in her shoulder, flank, abdomen, and spine.
TCSAR dispatched with teams in two SAR vehicles directly up the Old Pass Road. Once they arrived at the patient, the team assessed her injuries and packaged her for transport in the wheeled litter. After wheeling her less than a half mile, the team transferred her to a waiting ambulance.
Volunteers returned to the hangar, completing the mission in 2 hours, 41 minutes.
