JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — More than $51,000 in ‘Arts for All’ funding has been awarded to 19 local arts and culture organizations by the Town of Jackson and Teton County.
The grants provide direct support to organizations and individual artists with the goal to address gaps in existing art programs, broaden public access to the arts, enhance arts education, support the production and presentation of new works, and provide ongoing operating assistance.
JH Public Art facilitated the ‘Arts for All’ grant process with a panel of five local community members with diverse experience in arts and culture who scored and discussed each application.
Examples of funded grants include KHOL’s growing arts and culture coverage including in-depth interviews and tiny desk performances; Art Association’s Spring Break camp for elementary school age children; and Teton Music School’s after-school performance ensembles for students ages 12-18.
