JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — This Labor Day marked the end of an era as the Bar J Wranglers ended their final summer season at the world-famous Bar J Chuckwagon in Jackson Hole.
While the singing cowboys did announce plans for a fall and Christmas tour, they say they will never again grace the stage that has been their summer home for 44 years.
Rumors of the end of the road for the Bar J bunch have been premature before but this one looks like a done deal.
Along with the Bar J property being sold, the Humphrey gang is selling off four decades worth of boots, benches, antiques, signs, equipment, etc…everything must go. Check out the Bar J Chuckwagon Retirement Auction where you can bid on these authentic Bar J souvenirs now through September 18.
