County will work on Fall Creek, Fish Creek, Elk Refuge roads next week
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — County road crews will be out and about next week, working on various maintenance projects that could cause delays for some motorists.
Regular users of two roads north and south of Wilson should plan for delays throughout the day over the next two weeks.
Teton County Road and Levee will have a contractor working to chip seal and fog seal Fall Creek and Fish Creek roads Monday, July 26 through Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Crews plan to work from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. During working hours, motorists and cyclists should expect delays with traffic being reduced to one lane, using a pilot driver to direct traffic.
Both lanes of traffic will be open as normal outside of working hours and on the weekend.
Elk Refuge Road delays
Motorists and recreators should expect delays throughout the day on the National Elk Refuge Road next week due to routine maintenance.
Teton County Road and Levee crews will begin grading and applying a dust control agent on the road that is on the southeast corner of the National Elk Refuge, on Monday July 26. Crews plan to work through Wednesday, July 28, from 7am to 7pm.
During working hours, motorists and recreators should expect delays with traffic being reduced to one lane, using a pilot driver to direct traffic.
Both lanes will be open as normal outside of working hours.
