JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Work on a private water service in east Jackson resulted in multiple leaks on an aged water service that required shutting down watermains to stop the leaks for repair.
The Town Water Division is working with the contractor to minimize the outage and restore service as expeditiously as possible. The outage affects East Broadway and the Gill Addition near Moran, North Gros Ventre and East Deloney.
The town engineer advises residents to expect some air and discolored water when water service is restored. Users should flush water from their faucets until clear and clean out aerators.
