Heads Up: Commuters to Star Valley

Bridge work could slow the trip south of town today

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — WYDOT is apologizing ahead of time for what could be a slow commute home for some headed south on US 89/191.

Road crews have begun a pour and paving job on the bridge deck over the Snake River, and once started they have to see it through. That will mean work will continue into the rush hour and beyond.

Typically, road crews have tried to keep traffic flowing in the 5- and 6-o’clock hours but tonight they will be working right through to, perhaps, 7pm.

That could mean long delays so plan accordingly.
