JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of US 191 in the Hoback Canyon for tomorrow, Friday April 15, at 5am for avalanche mitigation.
No traffic in either direction will be allowed between Bondurant and Hoback Junction during the closure. Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, and increasing avalanche hazard may prompt an earlier closure.
Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly.
