Masks off on START Bus
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — START Bus today announced it is no longer requiring masks be worn by riders or drivers, following the federal judge overturning of the CDC mandate for public transport.
The federal mask mandate requiring individuals travelling on all transportation networks, including on buses, has been lifted. START Bus drivers and riders are no longer required to wear face coverings while on START Buses.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people continue to wear masks in indoor public transportation settings; however, masks are optional on all START Buses effective immediately.
START Bus asks that riders do not use the bus if they are sick, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
