Northern South Park open house offers chance to chime in, learn more
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The public is invited to learn more about Northern South Park Neighborhood Plan options during an open house this Thursday, August 19, at Jackson Hole High School.
Teton County and Town of Jackson staff, along with project team members, will be available to walk through an overview of four neighborhood plan options that include a variety of alternatives for density, housing, transportation, and more.
The Open House will run from noon until 7pm with a presentation occurring each hour on the hour.
“This is an opportunity for one-on-one review and discussion with the project team and other members of the community,” said Teton County senior long range planner Kristi Malone. “We want to hear what people think and what elements of the alternatives presented should become part of the future neighborhood plan.”
Those who are unable to attend can view the open house materials and presentation online and will be able to ask questions to the project team and provide feedback from August 19 to September 2.
Staff and the project team will take feedback from the open house and online worksite to refine options into a single proposed plan, which will later be presented to the community and then considered for approval by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners.
Due to a recent upward trend in COVID-19 cases, and per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, the public is encouraged to social distance and wear masks while attending the open house.
