Police footage reveals Petito and boyfriend were fighting on camping trip

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The case of the missing Long Island woman, Gabby Petito, took another strange turn after a news team turned up police footage of the couple being pulled over in Utah.

Bodycam video taken by Utah law enforcement on August 13 clearly shows a distraught Petito describing increasing issues with her boyfriend and traveling companion, Brian Laundrie, that included arguments that sometimes became physical.

In the hourlong encounter with Utah law enforcement, obtained and aired by Fox 13, Hendrie is observed by one officer as having several scratch marks on his face and neck.

The couple was eventually released on their way and would later arrive in Wyoming where last known contact with Petito and her family was established in Grand NP.
