Punkins coffee shop opens in Alpine

Stacie Jones trades Bubba's for beans

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Star Valley is getting a new coffee shop in the coming year. Punkins will open bright and early at 6am on January 3. It is located at 84 Sunbeam Drive in Alpine.

The shop is locally owned by Stacie Jones, who boasts more than 30 years in the service industry. Punkin will serve Snake River Roasting Company coffee. The local java was sold recently by founder Ruthann Petroff. The espresso is White Spider from Snake River Roasters.

Jones will also serve up latte, cappuccino, macchiato, chai, hot cocoa and more. Milk alternatives like whole milk, oat milk, and almond will also be available.

Many will remember Jones from her many years at Bubba’s BBQ. She was one of those bubbly servers that always remembered her customers. She was a mainstay, but now on to bigger and better.

Best of luck, Stacie!
