Search and Rescue heli team restocks, trains

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue ran a routine mission on Thursday, checking caches at three locations. The exercise is also a good reminder to the public to not tamper with any cached supplies they might come across; these could save a life.
The TCSAR helicopter team flew into three locations to check and restock various rescue caches in the southern Tetons. The team also did some training with Lifeseeker—an aircraft-mounted cellular transmitter that enables a helicopter search team to locate someone based on the pings in the cellular network even when there is no cellular service.
