JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — A new fire start was discovered yesterday on the Bridger-Teton in the Pinedale District yesterday.
The Muddy Ridge Fire was reported Wednesday, July 13 around 4:00pm. The fire is 1/2 acre and located near Muddy Ridge Road southeast of Boulder. It is burning in timber.
A fire module of 9 firefighters, 1 fire engine, and 1 Type 3 helicopter are actively suppressing the fire. The cause is under investigation.
There are no trail or road closures in effect for this fire.
