JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Construction at the base of Snow King has been fast and furious over the summer. While the place looks like a work in progress, progress is being made and the winter ski season should be much improved on the Town Hill.
Last week, a helicopter was spotted flying concrete for the new gondola towers. The old towers from the Summit lift were removed to make way for the gondola platforms.
The helicopter was flying Trails that cross the Exhibition ski run including Sink or Swim. Those trails were temporarily closed to public use while the chopper was working.
