St. John’s Auxiliary golf tournament cancelled

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Due to the high rate of transmission of COVID-19 in the community, and the recent increase in risk level to Red (High), St. John’s Health Auxiliary and St. John’s Health Foundation today announced the cancellation of the 29th Annual St. John’s Auxiliary Golf Tournament, scheduled for Tuesday, August 24 at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club.

The tournament is an annual local event to raise money for the Auxiliary’s pledge, which has previously included purchasing radiology equipment and other capital investments at St. John’s Health. The current pledge is to raise funds for the Birdsong Garden and landscaping on the northern side of Sage Living, the hospital’s new skilled nursing facility. This is the second year the event will be cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.

Anyone who has already registered as a player or sponsor for the tournament, will be provided a refund if desired. If you would like to donate your refund to the Auxiliary’s pledge or have any questions, please contact Claire O’Connell at coconnell@stjohns.health.
