Were Petito and Laundrie at Merry Piglets the day Gabby was killed?
Eyewitnesses say Laundrie was bitching about the bill and creating a disturbance
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — As more and more tips and potential sightings of Brian Laundrie continue to pour in, a few have come from very close to home including one eyewitness report from a local Jackson restaurant.
One couple, in Jackson Hole for a wedding, told Fox News they saw Gabby Petito and her boyfriend Brian Laundrie at Merry Piglets. Nina Celie Angelo and boyfriend Matthew England were having lunch at the popular downtown eatery on August 27 when they couldn’t help but notice a disturbance at a table nearby.
“It was a full-blown incident,” Angelo told Fox news, describing how Laundrie allegedly argued aggressively with waitstaff about his bill, stormed out 3-4 times only to return to complain again. At one point, according to Angelo, Petito came back in the restaurant alone to apologize for Laundrie’s behavior.
After returning to their home in New Orleans, Angelo and England had all but forgotten about the incident with Hurricane Ida slamming their city. But later, when national news started picking up on the story of Gabby Petito, the pair realized it was them they saw at Merry Piglets.
It turned their blood cold.
“I would bet $10 million, I’m 1,000% sure that was him and that was her,” England told Fox News.
The couple has since reported their sighting to the FBI. A manager at Merry Piglets told Fox news she could not recall the incident as they are “super busy during the summer.”
