Yellowstone adventure: Elk runs into car while being chased by wolf

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — A video posted on YouTube by a user named “Idaho Fluke” over the weekend shows an elk in Yellowstone run smack into a slow-moving vehicle as it was apparently being pursued by a wolf.

The dashcam video shows the elk, obviously frightened out of its wits and running for its life to evade the predator, emerge from the woods and plow into the side of a car. The elk was knocked to the ground and a wolf enters the camera shot immediately following.

The video was posted Saturday and has already received nearly 20,000 views.
