Art Association announces pop-up Art Fair
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The Art Association of Jackson Hole is going local and nimble due to an uncertain future with the ongoing pandemic. The organization today announced a 2021 Pop-Up Art Fair on the Center for the Arts Lawn Saturday, August 14 from 10am-4pm.
“As we continue to follow the COVID-19 progression very closely, we are pleased to announce a Pop-Up Art Fair of local artists (within 80 miles of Jackson),” the Art Association stated.
The pop-up version of the Art Fair honors Jackson’s small, arts-vibrant community through the support of local fine artists and craftsmen and craftswomen. Free entry for visitors with a suggested $5 donation. The fundraising event directly supports the Art Association’s year-round arts education programming, open studio access, community outreach, and public exhibitions, while making art accessible to all by bringing it outdoors.
Participants for this summer’s pop-up fair include Michelle Melehes, Fred Kingwill, Kathy Morgan, Stephanie Howell, Lisa Walker, Sevi Hagen, Laura Drew, Helen Seay, Deborah E Fox, Gabriel Lopez, Lillie Lauterbach, and Kris Batchelder.
The Art Association of Jackson Hole remains dedicated to encouraging a vital, creative community by providing everyone with exposure to, education in and enjoyment of a wide variety of art experiences.
