Boat ramps open for early season access
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — River runners will be able to spring forward beginning today as boat ramps are now open for public use.
Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department announced a partnership with the Snake River Fund that will allow users early season access at two boat ramps in the county. Beginning today, the Wilson and South Park boat ramps are open to the public with limited amenities. Restrooms are open.
Parks & Rec encourage the public to tread lightly in the area, and to properly dispose of waste by using the “Pack it in, Pack it Out” motto. Parks & Rec staff will commence full maintenance and service support for the season on April 15.
Snake River Fund is saying, water is low and launch/landing zones are very shallow.
