Christmas tree drop-off free for another week
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Still have your Christmas tree up? OK, you just might be a redneck. But there’s still time to dump that fire hazard on someone else.
Christmas tree drop-off at the Teton County Fairgrounds will last for one more week. It is available for residents only until Monday, January 31. Residents can also deliver trees to the Trash Transfer Station at no cost until January 31. All trees must be delivered undecorated.
After Monday, January 31, Christmas trees may still be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station but it will cost you 4¢ per pound with a $10 minimum.
Christmas tree loads from commercial entities, including landscapers and property managers, must be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US Hwy 89 during business hours, Monday through Friday 8am–3pm and Sat 9am–1pm.
