Community Bike Swap this weekend
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The Hub Bicycles announced the 10th Annual Jackson Hole’s Community Bike Swap will be Saturday, April 23, from 10am to 2pm at Snow King Sports and Event Center.
The event is time-honored way to unload a bicycle you may have outgrown, or pick up a gently used model you’ve had your eye on. It’s the premiere bike swap meet in the Teton region, with all proceeds benefiting Friends of Pathways and Teton FreeRiders (formerly Teton Freedom Riders).
Bicycle drop-off is Friday, April 22, from 12-7pm. It is open to any type of bike—town cruisers, kids’ bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, and everything in between. All that is asked is that bikes are in working order.
The Bike Swap is an easy, convenient way to sell your used bike or find your next ride. The cost to sell bikes is $10 for kids’ bikes, $25 for adult bikes. No Swap Day drop-offs will be accepted. Entry fees and 15% of sales will be donated to FOP and TFR.
The event will start promptly at 10:00am with early bird entry for $15. Free entry begins at 10:30am. Jackson Hole’s Community Bike Swap has raised a total of $70,000 for Teton FreeRiders and Friends of Pathways while helping grow the sport of cycling in the Teton Region by getting more butts on bikes.
The event will be held inside of the Snow King Ice Arena. Credit cards only; no cash or checks will be accepted. Sellers looking for guidance pricing their bikes should visit the Bicycle Bluebook.
