Wort Hotel and Rotary Club Foundation fundraiser for local scholarships
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Feeling lucky? Well, place your bets because the year’s biggest fundraiser for high school students is just around the corner.
The Rotary Club of Jackson Hole and its Foundation, along with The Wort Hotel, announced Casino Night 2021 will take place on November 6.
A limited number of tickets will be made available to join the event live in -person at The Wort Hotel. The hybrid event will also include a virtual component for online bidding, raffles, and a chance to win artwork, exciting trips, and more. The event, underwritten by The Wort Hotel, raised almost $200,000 in 2020 for local scholarships.
“Casino Night is truly an impactful night for our local scholars; we were able to award $188,000 of scholarships to 35 students because of the efforts around this event and the very generous matching dollars,” said Rotary scholarship committee chair Jeff Ward.
This is the fifth year Casino Night will reflect the partnership between The Wort Hotel and The Rotary Club of Jackson Hole and its Foundation.
The Wort Hotel general manager and Rotarian president Jim Waldrop said, “We are honored to produce and host this event for our local Rotary scholars. Casino Night provides an opportunity to work alongside many fellow Rotarians whose service to the community is inspiring.”
