Flat Creek Apartments awarded state funds
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — A public-private partnership housing project in Jackson has been awarded state funds.
During its monthly board meeting, the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA) voted unanimously to award the Town of Jackson’s Flat Creek Apartments project Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) worth $12M. Flat Creek Apartments is one of two projects to receive WCDA funding this round.
Flat Creek will create 48 rental apartments for community members that earn less than 60% of median family income. Coordinated by the Housing Department, Flat Creek Apartments is a partnership with BlueLine Development, Snow King Partners, and the Town of Jackson.
The town expects to contribute $5,000,000 in land value, and $1,000,000 for development.
“We are incredibly grateful to the WCDA and all our partners on this project. LIHTC support will help us develop reasonably priced apartments for our community and workforce,” said housing director April Norton.
The project is expected to break ground this fall.
