Grizzly got grain, gets new address
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — After consultation with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department captured and relocated a sub-adult male grizzly bear on August 7.
The bear was captured for obtaining grain on private lands northeast of Jackson. In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and U.S. Forest Service, the bear was relocated to the Boone Creek drainage approximately 30 miles northwest of Moran.
The attractant has since been secured.
