Moose host Colorado for NYE weekend

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Champagne won’t be the only staple on ice tonight. Ring in the new year this weekend with a little Moose hockey at the Snow King Sports and Event Center.

Jackson was originally scheduled to host the Sun Valley Suns as part of a home-and-home set after the Moose traveled to Idaho on December 17-18, managing a split with the Suns.

But Sun Valley has forfeited this weekend’s games. No addition details were provided by Moose general manager Bob ‘Howie’ Carruth.

Standing in for Jackson’s archrivals is the Colorado Nailers, who were in town for a pair of games back on December 10-11. Colorado handed the Moose their only home loss of the season that weekend.

After starting the season with 7 straight wins, the Moose have lost 2 of their last 3 games, and have a record of 8-2.

Colorado Nailers vs Jackson Hole Moose at the Snow King Sports and Event Center. Friday and Saturday night. Music by Box Elder at 7pm, puck drops at 7:30pm.
