New town clerk sworn in
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Lynsey Lenamond took the oath to become the Town of Jackson’s new town clerk on Monday.
The swearing in ceremony was held at Town Hall on April 26 with the Honorable Melissa Owens conducting presiding.
Lenamond grew up in DeSoto, Texas before moving to Teton Valley where she has lived for the last 10 years. Prior to working for the town, Lenamond managed the Body Sage Spa at the Rusty Parrot Lodge. Lenamond was initially hired in June 2020 as the information coordinator for the Jackson Police Department.
The position of town clerk performs duties as set forth in Jackson Municipal Code and Wyoming State Statutes. This position provides professional coordination and management of Town of Jackson paper and electronic public records and agenda and meeting preparation and execution.
Sandy Birdyshaw, the former town clerk, took over the position of information coordinator in the Jackson Police Department.
