Pardee moves on, takes job in Colorado
Town of Jackson looking for a new town manager
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Town manager Larry Pardee today announced that he has accepted a town manager position in Eagle, Colorado.
Pardee originally moved to Wyoming from Vail, Colorado in 2004 to become the director of public works for the Town of Jackson under then town manager Bob McLaurin. Pardee was later appointed town manager in 2018.
Pardee says the move is bittersweet.
“I truly love this community, but an opportunity in Colorado where I met my wife, started our family and began my public service in local government came to my attention and was interesting enough for me to throw my hat in the running.”
The interview process in Eagle became public a few weeks ago, and Pardee was offered the position the first week of June.
The mayor and council will be working with town leadership to outline a process for appointing an interim town manager and defining next steps to determine Pardee’s successor.
Mayor Hailey Morton Levinson shared, “The Town of Eagle will be lucky to have Larry Pardee at its helm to provide the dedication and direction he has shown here. We wish Larry all the best and are working to make this transition as smooth as possible.”
