Pet Partners looking for some cool cats and sweet dogs

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Think you have a totally chill cat or the world’s most tail-wagging doggo?

Teton County Pet Partners (TCPP) is looking for animal therapy teams. Your dog or cat might just be a perfect fit for this rewarding work. The next evaluation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14.

Teton County Pet Partners improves lives and helps people feel better by registering and matching animal therapy teams to individual and community needs. Their programs do a lot; from putting smiles on senior’s faces, easing hospital patients’ pain, and helping kids read.

Pet Partners works with C-V Ranch, Children’s Learning Center, Fireflies Preschool, Jackson Hole Airport, Jackson Hole Community School, Jackson Hole High School, St. John’s Health, Teton County Library, Teton Literacy Center, Teton Science Schools and VOAD.

Animal-assisted activities provide opportunities for motivational, educational and/or recreational benefits to enhance quality of life.
