START: Mask up until at least May 3
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — START Bus announced it will continue to require face coverings in keeping with federal mass transit guidelines, now extended through May 3.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced earlier this week that the face mask requirement for individuals travelling on all transportation networks, including on commuter buses, has been extended through May 3. The mandate was issued per President Joe Biden’s Executive Order 13998 and the TSA’s security directive requiring masks to be worn on all public transit systems nationwide to help reduce the spread of COVID- 19.
Face coverings are also required on all START Buses.
“Please do not ride START Bus if you will not wear a face covering or if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. We ask that you do not ride the bus if you have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID-19,” representatives of START stated.
