START transfer hub survey underway
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Starting today, August 6, START Bus is administering a survey about its Transfer Hub to gather community perspective about a more permanent hub in downtown Jackson. The survey is for START Bus riders and the community at large to weigh in about potential locations for riders to transfer between buses. The survey will also assess what additional amenities might be added (lighting, seating, shelter) to further improve the Transfer Hub.
Riders are asked to share their perspectives about what location will provide the most ease and least stress for START riders that transfer between buses.
START staff members will also be present at the existing Transfer Hub at Miller Park on Tuesday, August 24 from 7-10am and 3-5pm. This outreach session will gage how START Bus riders arrive at the hub (by bike, foot, or car) to determine if parking demand is created in the vicinity. Educational posters will be available onsite that day, and surveys in paper copies and digital versions will be available to fill out in-person as well.
