WYDOT sends off longtime foreman
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Department of Transportation wished a fond farewell to longtime maintenance foreman Bruce Daigle.
Daigle has done just about everything at WYDOT in his storied career. He’s operated the big rigs and helped repair them. His final resting place with the highway department is as shop foreman for the District 3 office.
Many remember Daigle from the time he struck out to Alta, Wyoming to pick up the remaining 280 ballots during the 2018 election. His wife Sherry was county clerk at the time, in charge of the election. A stormy night prevented the pollsters from brining in the ballot box.
Daigle, who spent many a day and night plowing Teton Pass, jumped in his truck and made the rescue run without a hitch.
