Young male seriously injured while snowmobiling
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — A snowmobiler was seriously injured yesterday after crashing into a tree near the Wyoming-Idaho border.
Teton County Search and Rescue were called to the scene on the border of Wyoming and Idaho where a young male was injured after colliding with a tree. The injuries were deemed serious enough that both TCSAR and Teton County Search and Rescue thought it best to call in the helicopter for extraction.
A short-haul operation was launched. The helicopter departed the TCSAR hangar at 5:59pm. After packaging the patient, TCSAR performed the short-haul to a waiting ambulance at 6:51pm, and all teams exited the field.
No reports as to the condition or the identity of the snowmobiler were immediately available.
