Christmas tree recycling up and running
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The annual Christmas tree drop-off at the Teton County Fairgrounds is in place and operational.
The discard service is provided free to residents only. Locals may also deliver trees to the Trash Transfer Station at no cost through January 31, 2022. All trees must be delivered undecorated. These trees will be used in the composting process and diverted from the landfill.
Christmas tree loads from commercial entities, including landscapers and property managers, must be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station during business hours, Monday through Friday 8am–3pm, and Saturday 9am-1pm. Fees are $88/ton or 4¢ per pound.
