Giants split with Outlaws, head home
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — The Jackson Giants split a doubleheader with the Evanston Outlaws Tuesday. Evanston’s Gus Allred quieted Jackson bats in the early game but the Giants offense came to life in the nightcap for an exciting 4-run victory.

Allred was all Evanston needed in game one of a doubleheader Tuesday. The Outlaws posted 3 runs in their half of the opening frame and never looked back.
Allred threw a 2-hitter—only Matt Fisher and Bridger Hammond were able to solve the outlaw pitcher who struck out 7 in 5 innings of work.
Kade Foulke (1-4) took the loss for the Giants, giving up 6 earned runs on 7 hits. He walked 4 and struck out 5.

Ashurts (3-3) pitched well enough to get the win. The big southpaw threw 4 1/3 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 11 hits. Parker Bleggi notched the save by working 2 2/3 innings of stellar relief.
